I believe PATM has nothing to do with food

Being a sufferer from nearly 12 years, I have to say over those 12 years trying different methods and so forth, doesn't seem to be working. But lately, I tried to binge eat; drinking lots and lots of water, not eating as much but very little just to test something out, and I must say... the reactions still existed. Perhaps "food" varies person, per person, but for me that's not the case. I am quite certain it has to do with my skin and my pores. Perhaps people with healthy skin, don't stress from this, and those who don't, do. I know my skin feels very flaky at times and when it does get very flaky that is when people react the worst.

Another event is that it triggers people from far away, but when someone is next to me, most times (if all) they don't react to me in an allergic way. But I do believe the issue really is our pores and our skin, than our digestive system; possibly even mold or something bacteria lingering inside our bodies we don't know how to get rid of.

Just my current observation.

Many of us have had PATM for a very very long time. I doubt anyone has cured this problem but only treat it temporarily. As members have explained, especially @grateful2011, it not a quick process. It takes time to deplete the concentration of PATM from the blood. That’s the first thing I experienced when going on mostly a vegetarian diet… it takes a few days before it shows any beneficial effects. Also I had to add in other things to totally eliminate it or so mild that it’s hardly recognizable by other people. But I can only maintain it as long as I stick to it.

It is true we are at different levels when it comes to the severity of the condition. There are those that can benefit from just changing their diet alone. I know of at least one PATMer who only needs to change his diet, nothing else. I can’t even tell that he’s got PATM because I hardly see anyone coughing around him. According to him he has get very close for it to happen.
Possibly your condition is severe like mine and needs a little more work.
