Is PATM linked to ACID levels?

Hi Guys

Our forum members have mentioned that when they take Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI's) [Losec, Prilosec, Zegerid, ocid, Lomac, Omepral, Omez) that the REACTIONS REDUCE.

PPI's decrease the amount of acid in the stomach and is also used for the treatment of GERD. I think PATM may have something to do with Acid levels in the body.

Also some people mention soda water or mineral water helps too which also akalizes the body (i.e. reduces the acid level). It would great if people could do a little research and post your opinions about this. As nothing really makes a difference apart from PPI's.

I think Histamine levels could be linked to PATM as well.
