Laptop Resting on Stomach/Lap

Hello,

Quick poll - do you guys have a long history of resting your laptop computer on your stomach/lap?

The timelines for this disease/condition breaking out and laptops/wifi becoming widespread are in alignment, so I wanted to check. I heard and read about studies that said resting your laptop like this was a cancer risk.

I've asked people on a Russian forum, and we have 4 people so far that confirm regularly resting their laptops on their bodies as described for up to 10 years.

We are all here because of antibiotics, so I doubt antibiotics are going to be the cure.

Drinking lots of water and adding Hydrogen peroxide seems to be working for people in the Russian community, myself included.

@TAPAKAH
I agree @TAPAKAH. I believe antibiotics is probably what got us here in the first place but biology doesn’t work as you suggested. Antibiotics can also cure us even though that’s not what we are looking for here. We’re looking for patterns to gain more information about PATM.

Antibiotics really means anything that diminishes or kill bacteria but harm host cells less. If PATM is bacterial related, then whatever we do to get better will always involve killing that particular bacteria strain. FMT does the same thing but in a different way. The control strains will either gobble up the bacteria or release toxins that kills PATM strains but doesn’t harm us.

FMT is often said by doctors as the ultimate probiotic, since it has all the bacterial strains in the gut i.e. 1000-20000 strains, and ultimate antibiotic, because it has strains that can actually kill other pathogenic strains.

It's likely some sort of mold or fungus, IMO
As a matter of fact we don’t know the species involved exactly. Collecting data such as what we are doing can tell us a lot about the type of species.
Fungus is kind of candida,mold is related to mycotoxins-aflatoxin,ochratoxin etc and aspergillus.In my case aflatoxin and aspergillus niger.
@mindspace
Hi mindspace. I know a lot of people in general just throw words around without really knowing what they mean but since we are discussing these things I’ll just explain some basics so we can have a common platform.

In biology all life is classified into eight major taxonomic ranks. Think of it as a tree like structural hierarchy but upside down. These basics are learned in elementary biology in around grade 4-5 but it’s needed all the way to PH.D. level because one can’t talk about a species without identifying where it belongs. Where it belongs on hierarchy determines its characteristics. I’ve provided a link to it at the bottom.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki
/Kingdom_(biology)#Eight_kingdoms

Fungi is one of the major five kingdoms - (Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista and Monera) way up the hierarchy. Notice Animals are Plants are two separate kingdoms of their own. Way at the bottom of the fungi kingdom branch, Candida, mold, mushrooms etc.etc. will fall either on species, subgroups or characteristics to base subgrouping on the fungi kingdom. For instance, Candida is a Genus subgroup of yeasts. Naming a species is always composed of a Genus and species name. Genus name is capitalized while species name isn’t. If you check how I name them, it’s always this way. I’m always amused when people here write down the names without realizing this. To name a few. Candida glabrata, Candida guilliermondii, and Candida lusitaniae. I think you’re familiar with Candida albicans or C.albicans because it’s the main one when people refer to candida gut dysbiosis. Since they belong to same group, they have basic characteristics associated with them. For instance, you can look up common characteristics of all Candidia Genus. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candida_(fungus) and compare it to other related groups or find medication based on those groups.

Microscopic cellular life releases a lot of metabolites. Toxins is one of them. Toxins are also grouped and named according to their individual characteristics. Those that are experts in this area can sometimes just tell you the type of infection and toxins involved by observing the symptoms alone. For instance, some toxins can cause a specific kind of feeling in a particular area in a patient.

The problem with PATM is because we don’t know yet what species is causing it, let alone the group. With the information I have so far, I’d guess it’s probably Gram-positive bacteria and that’s about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-domain_system

I would imagine this Gram-positive bacterial species, which could be one or more, is actually destroying our intestinal wall and allowing all toxins of microbial gut species that should have ended up on faces and going out the body, to leak into the bloodstream.
I was meant to address this but I didn’t explicit say it. Fungi/Fungus is the kingdom where candida, yeasts and mold fall under.
Don'tgiveuphope what is your explanation about that someone here was cured with tranquillants?
@mindspace
What is a tranquillants? I’ve never come across that word before. Sounds like you’re referring to a device. Can you point me to a company that makes them or an academic journal where it’s been used?

@mindspace
While you look for that device whatever it is, the authenticity of a claim doesn’t spontaneously become a fact unless they are verified. Several people will have to try it to verify whether it cures PATM or not. But from the sound of things, that device doesn’t exist because even google couldn’t provide a definition for the word. Throw any word regardless what it is into google and it will show you a meaning or links. Google is implying your device doesn’t exist.
@patmtolong
Thanks patmtolong. You mean sedatives? If so I question how is that going to help patm? Which sedative is he talking about? Quinazolinones?
Sorry it's my mistake.Tranquillizer or sedative.But I don't know which one.Am579 is nickname.
@mindspace
“But I don't know which one.”

Thank you @mindspace. To even consider as a possible cure we should at least know what it is exactly. But just think about it, if someone comes in the forum which you have no idea who that person is, and tells you he got cured by something that puts a person mind to sleep, how logical is that? How does that relate to the latest MeBO research findings? Does it come near to explaining leaky gut or low amino acids concentrations? No.

It sounds more like a person arguing that PATM is a psychological problem to me. Sorry but either way the claim is not credible.
Avatar universal
Rarely I do this.But I used to sleep with laptop and smartphone.No more do this.Someone here said Are you crazy it's like sleeping in a microwave.And it's true.It's all about electromagnetic radiation.I'll prove it next months.

@mindspace
Yes, Wi-Fi bands or IEEE 802.11 standard use bands from 2.4 GHZ to 5.9GHZ depending on technology used. These bands are within the microwave range too. These frequencies cause friction between atoms and molecules of any liquid which is why we feel warm and hot sometimes as we are mostly water… so we all know that. The problem here is that it has nothing to do with PATM. Many of us develop PATM without having access to a laptop or phone. When Ray develop PATM 40 yrs. ago, mobiles and laptops weren’t sold commercially.

I agree that Wi-Fi probably worsens PATM but coffee, saturated fats, gluten does too. I just don’t see how understanding Wi-Fi in details will help give us new information.
Dontgiveuphope if we had defective gene there is no cure for our situation.We should pray for this.I'll be tested for that in august.We already know what is the culprit of PATM-toxic body(toxins overload).Before I took round of antibiotics nobody coughed around me.The likely reason for that is mycotoxins.Mycotoxins are like poisonous mushrooms.Last 2 months I decreased significantly electromagnetic exposure-laptops,smartphones,wi-fi etc and I had benefits of that.But I also did candida diet,detoxes,epsom salt baths and workout.For these 2 months I reduced about 70-80% of the reactions.You know when I took last antibiotic my beard and my hair were electrified.My explanation for that is when the toxins in the body are overloaded static electricity in the body is increasing.That's why I always had problems with techniques-smartphones,laptop,stereo.Our body emitted "+" ions.Maybe that's why PATM is through phones,cameras.It''s obviously that electromagnetic exposure increases PATM.That's why liver cleanses and colon cleanses are very important.One guy here said that he had cure for PATM but it's not instant.He said that the reason for PATM is GMO and he cured one girl with eating only organic food for 5 days.I think that is not cure for PATM because PATM is very serious condition.We need information for those who had cured PATM whether they eat everything now.I have these electromagnetic sound in my ear and I know that I'll be cured when these sound stop.I read article about electrosensitive woman who had chronic candisiasis and she said that her electrosensitivity was cured after 4th liver cleanse and
She has pulled gallstones.I know that i had lesions in the liver and I should do liver cleanses.Also one woman in youtube said that she cured Morgellons with electromagnetic pulse(I don't know what it is maybe it's similar to electric lamp).What i think is very difficult to cure PATM because of electromagnetic exposure.
@mindspace
Interesting. Btw, what gene are being test for?
I don't know yet but I'll hope that I don't have it.
@mindspace
OK, well when you’re testing for a gene, you must know before they run the test. They must know what they’re screening for.

If you’re talking about PATM, there’s hasn’t been a gene connected with PATM. If there was one, I would have done it myself 2 years ago because I’ve done these works at university.

I think a lot of people here think that DNA sequencing or profiling will help us. It won’t unless we identify a particular protein associated with PATM. When we find that protein or proteins, only then can we attempt to trace it backwards to the actual gene or genes responsible.

If TMAU1 researchers didn’t find the TMA compound, they had no way of tracing it back to the actual gene.
About GMO. I’m not sure if I’ve come across any disease caused directly by GMO. The reason is because there’s no clear definition of what is a genetic modified organism and what’s not. Our definition of GMO usually means, a species with a modification of at least one base pair in a particular gene.

Well guess what, that modification is happening all the time in nature. We can’t keep track of these natural changes within us and other organisms.

So in general there’s no clear definition.

However, it is used to refer to an organism that was derived from another. For instance, we can make a new wheat species by modifying the gene of one existing wheat species to better suit climate at a specific location and make better yields. We can refer to the new species as a GMO. The question here is, which one is a natural species and which one is a GMO? We both made them. One was cross bred thousands of years from a natural species of grass and one we made just now.

99% of the food that we eat are modified species. We modified their genes by either cross breeding or genetic engineering.

Nevertheless it is possible for GMO to contribute to the onset of a specific disease. It’s rare but possible. For instances we can make a species that is not very nutritious. While it can indirectly contribute to an onset of a disease such malnutrition, it will not directly cause an infection.

But there’s hardly anything in our existence that benefits without some disadvantages. As far as GMO is concerned, its benefits outweighs its possible problems. If GMO are to be taken out now probably 5 billion of our world population will vanish and malnutrition of the past will thrive again.

The real problem with GMO was really a media hype created by chiropractors, homeopaths and naturalpaths. Selling supplements and alternative medicines is a lucrative businesses and since they’re not educated in science or medicine they’ve made this unnecessary scare out of thin air to explain what they think is the problem. They’ve come up with all kind of weird explanation and non-existence diseases. I see them brought up by forum members all the time.

For instance, when biology researchers found out that gut can leak by the process of damaged “tight-junction” protein, they named it gut permeability or sometimes informally know as leaky gut. Chiropractors, because they have no understanding of the biochemical processes or biology, jumped into the conclusion that a disease which they called “Leaky Gut Syndrome” exists. They explained out of thin air a bunch of symptoms that could easily explain hundreds of other diseases. Their basis of falsely deriving this non-existing disease was having access to scientific papers of real scientists. Notice that “Leaky Gut” and “Leaky Gut Syndrome” are two different things. Leaky Gut happens as experimentally verified by scientists. Alternatively, “Leaky Gut Syndrome” is a non-existing disease with weird symptoms thought up by chiropractors and naturalpaths.

This is why universities lock away their work and only available to other universities and not fake medicine people. If it wasn’t for chiropractors, GMO, Leaky Gut Syndrome and many other false claims wouldn’t exist. They’ve caused a media hype and scare which contributes substantially to sell their products. Because of the leak of scientific papers, chiropractors have been able to mass produce some of these drugs or supplements successfully – which they always call natural supplements. If they can’t they’d hire or order from pharmacists or chemists. For instance, chiropractors refer to their neurotransmitters supplementation products as natural supplements. Steroids are natural substances too. Most antibiotics and antifungals are natural too. They declare anything natural just the way they want it to be because it sells.

I have to be honest I once believed in many quackery and lies spread by chiropractors and naturopaths early in preschool until I went to university. I realized their guesses are as good as any high school kid out there with access to at least one academic database and a smart mouth, but nature is not that easy to debunk. Google scholar has allowed and boosted the spread of chiropractic fakery. They thrive on people’s ignorance.

I’m not here to bash on quackery and chiropractors although I know who they really are, but to reveal the fact not to believe anything that you read out there. The fact is, hardly anyone creates a website and writes a webpage without having some form of financial interest.

As for GMO, the truth is, there’s good and bad but quacks have fooled people into believing that it’s mostly bad so they can easily sell their products and opinions.

Part of the reason why quackery thrives is because medications and medical services is very expensive. This is very true and it’s unfortunate but there’s not really a way around it. I had to go to university to understand why. Research needs a lot of time and money. There’s a very important relationship in production and supply which can be simplified like this. Cheap medicine & services imply infective medicine & services. Expensive medicine and services imply effective medicine & services. The reason is because the more money and resources we put into something, the more productive the outcome…but at the same time the more expensive the product. It goes for everything i.e. cars, military equipments, not just medicine.
Please research today’s gmo’s.  Some of the main ones create a pesticide resistant crop. Basically they can excessively spray pesticides without affecting the crop. In turn the products end up on the shelf loaded with these extra poisons.   We have not been modified or adapted to digest these poisons yet.  So gmo food directly affects our health 100%.  Aside from the pesticides it’s the self replicating nano fibers being placed inside.  I know it sounds crazy but it is true.  And this is 100% related to patm.

Yes, but some people claim to have had PATM well before the prominence of laptops. PATM could be a lot of things but I don't think it's this.

I think I know what’s he’s trying to get at. Most people with laptops use the wireless connection rather than the LAN. I think I’ve read a paper somewhere where Wi-Fi can affect epithelial cells negatively which I presume will worsen leaky gut. The problem here is that many people had PATM before laptops were available. I personally believe Wi-Fi from both laptop and mobile can worsen leaky gut and immunity in some way but not the cause.
There’s actually a vicious debate on this issue because multibillion software & hardware companies rely on wireless for all their communication devices so would hire and influence all people from all area to suppress the negative claims about wireless on health issues. It’s like how the petroleum industry run campaigns to discredit anyone from promoting global warming.
