Obscure Questions - Questions that no one asks but are still important

Hello everyone,

I have a few unanswered questions that I have yet to find any clarification on. Maybe a break in the case can be found in the details. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Unanswered Questions:

Vibrations?

Before PATM started I first noticed that water in the toilet would move when I was around it. At first, I thought it was a parasite that I couldn’t see that caused these sporadic waves in the bowl. After extensive parasite testing, everything came back negative but these obscure vibrations still occurred. I eventually came to the conclusion that these vibrations are coming from me. It's not a parasite, it's not a bug, it's some sort of energy. Any sort of water in a bowl would get waves in it like I was physically shaking it when I was within a close proximity. Has anyone else noticed these vibrations? I think severe anxiety is a major contributor to these vibrations. It is very important to note that you can have PATM without these vibrations.

Masturbation?

The first time I noticed PATM was after I masturbated. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Is it a factor to consider? I’m not quite sure what role this plays.

EMF sensitivity

Does anyone else consider themselves sensitive to EMF? Does anyone who has PATM have extremely low exposure to EMF so we can rule this out? Or perhaps this is an underlying factor if we all grew up and have been exposed to EMF for a long time. I know I certainly have.

Insomnia

Before the antibiotic treatment, I had some sleeping issues. This all started six months before treatment when my heart would randomly flutter, giving me the sensation that my heart was going to stall out. I would often wake in the middle of the night having to breathe rapidly to regain composure. At the start, these events occurred only once a month, but it progressed until it was at least daily.

After the antibiotics, I have NEVER slept the same. Simple cause and effect relationship that is undisputable. I now lay my head down, but I never sleep. THIS WAS NOT AN ISSUE BEFOREHAND. My brain continues to think throughout the night as if I’m zapped or something. People can talk in the middle of the night and I will respond because I am actually awake even though I appear to be sleeping. I am not restless, not in pain, not anxious. This is simply a horrible adverse reaction to the antibiotics treatment.

Antibiotic Treatment

Did anyone experience eye pain when on antibiotics? I have determined with absolute certainty that my PATM started after I took antibiotics. I found while I was on the antibiotics that it hurt to move my eyes to the corners and it felt as if my eyes were hyperextended.

Craze

The mental craze is a direct reaction to my body's inability to eradicate this hazardous substance from my system. This craze is typically worst when I get away from my diet and fail to eat on time. It doesn't take long for this panic mode to engage. My heart will race, and it feels like I've overdosed on sniffing salts or something. I also have sufficient reason to believe that this is directly tied to my inability to sleep and rapidly deteriorating short-term memory.

People get sick around me?

The title PATM has always been misleading from my perspective. Most people who I am around eventually get sick, and proceed to develop chronic throat clearing and sleeping issues depending on how long they have been exposed to me. I would be so happy if people just sneezed around me, and when I left they were fine! It seems that people react to me, and this spreads to them. I don't mean they make people cough, but the symptoms (chronic throat clearing, and sickness) attach to the individual. I also found that once the individual gets sick, our body's immune system is unable to fully eradicate it and achieve a full recovery. I was wondering if anyone else has found that. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Anyways I know these questions are strange but that is the point. I could go on and speculate on the key points, but i felt I could contribute more if I focused more on side issues.

Thanks guys,
Keep up the good fight!

I don't believe the antibiotics directly induced your symptoms. I suspect that the ABX killed the food source the PATM organism had depended on, so it migrated to the skin and began searching for better hosts.

Never seen the water vibrate, but onset of PATM included 2 months of shocking everything I touched, hair straight up on end like an electric storm. PATM is synonymous with Morgellons, for me. I have reduced both 95%, but still experience making people itch/ others making me itch, most days.No coughing or sneezing for years, except making my Mom cough over the phone. The only people who were ever aware of my effect, even after openly trying to convince many people, were ladies that were extremely EMF sensitive.

Great post man, most of your words are spot on. I definitely feel you on the rapid heartbeat. And EMF seems like a good explanation for our symptoms. First post about PATM was back in 2007, that's when Wi-Fi went mainstream. We don't know the effects of this on the body.

My apologies. I took a course of antibiotics which kickstarted PATM for me. I know that many people also took antibiotics which triggered this adverse reaction. The best explanation I can find is quote "Antibiotics are the biggest cause of flora imbalance (disturbed ratios and microorganisms) because most antibiotics indiscrimatorily kill all of the bacteria they encounter.". We can claim with scientific backing that our stomach flora has become unbalanced due to antibiotic treatment. This unbalance definitely plays a role in PATM. Supplement treatment targets this unbalance, which can be helpful to some. I have found that the supplements can help suppress PATM but I have yet to experience any significant results. This like everything varies from person to person, so I would definitely recommend trying the supplements for yourself.

Can everyone think back to when PATM started for them? Did you take a course of antibiotics beforehand? Did you have some sort of traumatizing event? Have you suffered from long term severe anxiety? Why has PATM developed for the majority of people when puberty hit? What I'm trying to understand is what caused PATM. If we as a group can accurately define the origin, we can work backward. Anyways sorry for the long post. I'm just 100% dedicated to finding a fix, and I need help from other individuals.
I was a normal fun person to be with, only thing I have is thyroids n migranes. Nothing bad happen that would trigger this. Feels like it came out of no where and im trying same as yyou, diet, water cut out alot of stuff but it is still the same. Doctor would not believe anything im telling him.
