Absolutely wrong for closing our long thread, I had no issues with loading

The old thread consistently loaded slowly from my experience, while other MH pages were quick. This would suggest the long thread was indeed creating server load issues. Plus, Claire is right in that our discussions would be much more organized by using multiple topics with clearly defined purposes. MH has clearly made a technical effort to help facilitate this. We can even post URLs now.
i had no problem with the old thread either. it was closed down and now many members are lost. unbelievable. nobody unsderstood the comfort that the forum provided us with, and then just because it took an extra 3 seconds to load, it's been closed down. ridiculous.
The problem is you have to take that extra 3 seconds and multiply it by all visits made by all viewers each day. I cannot think of another valid reason that MH would have for closing the thread. Do you think they're intentionally trying to be difficult? That seems unlikely. I don't understand how people could be lost given that MH posted a link in the old thread to the new location.

You might want to start a few topics to get the ball rolling, like Introduce Yourself, Symptoms, Research, Emotional Support, etc.  Having a bunch of topics will keep things organized, and it'll be easier to see everyone's questions/comments.

Just go to this link: http://www.medhelp.org/forums/People-Allergic-to-Me-PATM/show/312
Then, click the "Post a Question" button to create your topic.

It's a good idea to keep this link in your bookmarks so that you'll automatically see any new threads/questions/comments. A number of members have posted there already, hoping for answers from those of you who have expertise.

Hope this helps.
