I have AFIB and blood pressure that is very extreme high to low.  Of course there are normal reading days also.  Should the blood pressure be treated first or the AFIB

Afib or atrial fibrillation is an abnormal rhythm to the atrium, one of the four heart chambers. It can affect your blood pressure in different ways depending upon the varying rate of the heart, be it uncontrolled  or controlled (less than 80 beats per minute) It can also cause other problems including blood clots that dislodge and cause a stroke.

As you can see it's very important to have your heart rate controlled. The choice to control one or the other first depends upon where your heart rate and blood pressure reside when you see your physician. She will use her judgement to determine how to proceed.

Sometime merely controlling the heart rate permits better bp control. Seek immediate treatment for this problem. good luck
