hemifacial spasm

My mother  age is 62 years.From last 01 year she was having twitching near her left eye together with pain in her head-right side.We consulted one doctor in New Delhi  of a very good hospital.As per the doctor she is having hemifacial spasm and the treatment he suggested are some medicines--Zenoxa or Botox injections but they are temporary.Kindly suggest is botox injections can really work for long time .
