twitching and unwanted weight loss

HI, I am a 52 year old male with muscle twitching in all parts of my body, The twithcing started about 6 months ago and has progressively gotten worse, I am seeing a neurologist at the Mayo Clinic and they are performing all the test they know of, I am presently awaiting  the results of a KCNQ2 genetic test. I would like to know if anyone is also loosing weight due the musele fasciculations? I also suffer from an unknown metabolic myopathy of the muscles.

I can sympathize. I'm in exactly the same boat except for the weight loss. Will be interested to hear an update on your condition.  I suspect your weight loss is a result of anxiety brought on by your twitching. Best of luck.
