savannah monitor

My savannah monitor has been bobbing/thrashing his head around along with dragging his back legs sometimes. What would be wrong and how to reverse it?

I know very little about the behavior of these critters, but what you describe definitely warrants a trip to a veterinarian who specializes in exotics.  The head bobbing could be a sign of discomfort or pain.   Any pet that doesn't have full use of his limbs needs to be seen be a veterinarian ASAP in my opinion.
