cataracs

has a boston terrier gave to me a cuple months ago she is the sweetest little dog she loves to go bye bye ..the question I have is that she has a catrac on one of her eyes how long do you have to wait for it to be ripe so it can be removed

The answer to your questions is that it varies quite a bit.  Most cases are a bit different in what causes the cataract, the age / maturity of the cataract and health of other structures in the eye.  

The only way to answer your question will be to have a veterinary ophthalmologist see your dog and do a complete ophthalmic exam and make those determinations.  

Wish I could give you a set answer, but it does not exist.
