Do stretch marks fade or go away?

I got stretch marks on my lower stomach from my son. For already mommies did yours fade or go away with time? My son is 3 weeks old and they're still a little red

Try bio oil. It's helped me a lot with mine from both of my girls. But as the ladies above said, they'll fade mostly they don't just go away, so it is best to think of them that's positive like a mama tiger her earned her stripes or well deserved war wounds.

Like with scars they will fade over time. Depending on how bad they are will determine how much they fade and how fast. There are products sold that are supposed to help this process but I haven't found any that seem to make a difference.
