Hamster with wet tail

How can I treat a hamster with a wet tail please need some help?

Although there are treatment medications available at the pet store, it might be safer to have a vet take a look. Depending on how long he's been sick, he can get dehydrated very quickly and will need some subQ fluids. He'll need the proper antibiotics of course and perhaps some anti-diarrheal meds to slow things down until he feels better.

All his bedding and food/water dishes need to be cleaned thoroughly as well since it is bacterial spread by fecal/oral route.
