Swollen Finger?

My little sisters Black Bear Hamster has a swollen finger. The nail was long one moment and the next her whole finger was inflamed. Her nail is still there so I know it wasn't yanked out. Help Please?

Sounds like she snagged it in something. It's possible it's broken but there's no way to immobilize a tiny hamster toe. Watch it closely. If there's any redness or bleeding, take her in immediately. That would be a sign of infection, not just a sprained or broken toe.
