I am having abdominal pain bit away from belly button on left side. The pain is more at one point. I am having back pain as well on left side, more near the same point as front, but also left side lower back. I have been to doctor and they say I have IBS and mechanical back pain. Somehow I feel there is something else.
I posted this question on other section in this place but some one suggested it could be a gynaecological problem.
Can you please guide?
It is difficult to comment on abdominal pain without an examination. However this can be IBS or due to intestinal infection, or due to a gynaecological cause like pelvic infection or ovarian cysts etc. an ultrasound scan of the abdomen and pelvis needs to be done. Also consult a gynaecologist for an examination.
Hope this helps.
