by aprillynn79, Aug 27, 2009 09:16PM
I'VE TAKEN MY LAST CLOMID MY TEMP JUMPED THE FIRST DAY I TOOK IT AND NOW IT'S BACK DOWN. IS IT POSSIBLE WHEN I OVULATE IT WILL JUMP UP?? HOW LONG AFTER THE LAST PILL DO U OVULATE? I know everyone is different but man. It's beginning to get so frustrated. Waiting for another month to go by to start routine over is not what I want to hear. LOL SERiously

Hi your temp will spike with the clomid because of the hormones, you didn't miss ovulation.  most people o between cd13-16 .  I do not temp while i'm on clomid or prometrium it gives you a false high.  I start temping four days after my last pill, that's when i start taking opk's too.  I take it cd3-9 though.  I know this is very frustrating!

Hiya generally you will ovulate within 9 days after last pill.when i took clomid temps were all over.I disagree about temping.in fact i found it very helpful.when you ovulate yes it will shoot back up,same as usual above coverline, hence why its important to chart.in my opinion.good luck.

I did temp charts while on clomid, prometrium and they never looked like a "normal" chart, and still continued for six months. I never ovulated on my own so that could have been a factor. My sister has been charting for four months, nothing looked right and the doctor told her to stop. She now has found out that she also has PCOS and I guess if you hormones are messed up from that that the temp is going to follow. Sorry to discourage anyone but it isn't the best thing to wake in the morning testing and thinking about where it should be or not. Try and relaxe and stop for a month or two.

Have any of you tried fertilitea.I agree clomid makes your charts go everywhere but after a while should settle.I too suffered pcos several years ago.actually longer than that, after i had my 16 year old son,I had ovarian drilling to cure this did work, but didnt achieve pregnancy, did on clomid but didnt substain, this cycle i did the fertilitea, and used a tonic called welcome womb and can say after 7 miscarriages im now 15 weeks pregnant.the tea contain vitex amongst other herbs, all natural.but dont use with clomid.docotrs say have a break from clomid after 6 months if no sucess.
