Am 8weeks late from my last periods now, and have a mild pain in the breast and feeling sleepy. But the kit gives the negative results. So I went to consult my doc on the 5th of November.

Doc said there is a cyst in the womb she refused to give provera, saying it might be a baby. But Not sure, and wants me to wait for another 2weeks and do the serum test.

Am soo afraid now, do any body experience the same problem or knows anything about it. Please help me.

Hi,i too am on metformin, since the last 7-8 months, according to the doc, i should stay on it and ttc naturally for about a year.. also, i was diagnosed with PCOS in 2006.. hvnt checked if i still have it or is it gone ... but yes, i needed to take provera once, to get a period... which i keep missing every 3 months or so... although on metformin!!
so, i feel its pretty common.my doc wasn much worried either!! he said i am young(going to be 31yo!!!!) and should ttc & wait out a whole year before any invasive treatment to have a child.
So..i would encourage you to 'stay happy and stress free' and keep yourself healthy,too..i bet you exercise ...atleast a few minutes everyday.. esp. with met,its important to eat healthy.
well, You're not alone....take care

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

Don't worry, it is very common and normal with PCOS to miss your period.  It could just be that you need to increase your dose of metz (I'm assuming that's a type of metformin?).  It could also just be due to stress or your hormones acting up.  I am on the highest dose of metformin, and sometimes I get my period regularly, and sometimes I can go 2-3 months without getting it.  You should let your doctor know, because they can give you something called Provera to help you get it.
