High fsh low oestrogen

Hey I've not had a period for over a year and tests show high fsh and low oestrogen... More tests are being sent away... Any idea what this indicates?

HI,
High FSH and low estrogens usually indicate lowered fertility. This can make the cycles anovulatory or may sometimes indicate premature menopause depending upon the levels of these hormones. Consult a gynaecologist and an endocrinologist for a thorough evaluation. Hope this helps.
