Hormone Levels

Hi Everyone

Does anybody know what high DHEA sulphate means? I have known polycystic ovaries so im assuming it is linked with this but I would like to know if this is going to affect my fertility? been trying to conceive now for 3 years with no luck.

Thank You.

DHEA-sulfate test measures the amount of DHEA-sulfate in the blood. DHEA-sulfate is a weak male hormone (androgen) produced by the adrenal gland in men and women.

If your levels are high, you may have the unwanted side affects of excess hair or other male characteristics. This is something to follow with PCOS.
