Hysterectomy because of PCOS

did my hysterectomy take my pcos away. Have read where it didn't, but am looking for more info on this matter. I had gastric bypass on 07 went from 320 - 180 and then have regained to 245. Could this gain be partly due to pcos, even after hysterectomy?

No one told me a thing. Of course my operation was done in a very small town of only 3200 people. So I am still learning, learning what I should have already known , wow. Thank you for your help.

Probably NOT....the sad truth is ... MOST PCOS is NOT from the ovaries and is ACTUALLY caused by the pancreas..... SO you will have ALL of the other symptoms of PCOS without the ovarian symptoms......

Do you have an endocrinologist? They should have told you about it before the surgery. So should your surgeon.
