I get my period twice a month why?

I have been getting my period twice a month for about a year.  I know i should see a gynecologist and i could be anemic.  I just want to know, what causes this to happen because my periods were regular before.

I thought the same thing but I was having irregular uterlining bleeding.  I guess it is very common with PCOS and you are not actually ovulating and it is not your AF.  See an obgyn to have a progestrone test done, to be sure.  Good Luck let me know how it turns out
