I am 22 and was diagnosed with PCOS in April.  It was really hard at first, but the best thing for me to do was research.  I have learned so much about PCOS and have been keeping a list of symptoms/concerns to ask my physician.  I have found several online support groups, such as this one, which help TREMENDOUSLY.  It gets a little easier to live with every day...just remember that you're not alone in this and don't be afraid to ask questions :)

Hang in there!  Everything will be alright.

Having PCOS should not control your life. Just be happy anyways. You can still have a normal life, you just need to make some possible changes to what you eat and how often you exercise. I know it's hard at first, but it gets better and you will see over time that it was nothing to really worry about. It's something that we have to live with, but we can do it. You're strong, don't let it hold you back.
