INFO about clomid and late ovulation

Okay so I noticed alot of questions on the board about clomid and late ovulation. Some people say if you ovulate late then the clomid didnt work, others say its normal. WELL, I went to my fertility specialist Monday and asked  about late ovulation because the first time i ovulated was on 150mg and CD20. He said since I started on my own that month (on CD34) it was absolutely fine and normal because it was 14 days after ovulation. No matter how late ovulation comes, u should expect your period 14 days after the day you ovulated! Just thought I'd share with everyone! :)

Well I Ovulated in May 22, had bloodwork, and they said that I did O. well I didn't get my AF in June, and now July I spotted for about 6 days, pink, nothing like my normal AF. So the doc doesn't know why my bloodwork said I O'ed but didn't get AF in June. I to have PCOS, was DX at 16, and now I am TTC, took Clomid in May, I have been off and on Clomid for about a Year now, and my doc just put me on Metformin. So I am not sure. I didn't take Clomid this month, because AF didn't seem normal to me at all!

It also depends on your leatul phase. Some women have a short leatul phase and start their periods as early as 10 days past ovulation. Yes the normal is 14, but that's also text book. No two women are the same.

Thanks for sharing.
