PCOS 100 mg clomid didnt work, uping to 150 mg

by angelanmu, Sep 12, 2008 01:28PM
Hello
I am a 26 yr old, normal size female TTC with PCOS. I currently was taking clomid cd 4-8 at 100 mg and today is cd 13 and went in for my vaginal ultrasound and the Dr said I only had one follicle and it was 12 mm. She said it should be around 18-22 mm if I was going to ovulate so she is uping the dosage to 150 mg for my next cycle. Anyone have luck ovulating at 150 mg?? or getting bigger follicles? Any help is great!

With PCOS your follicles will tend to be small, I did 3 cycles of 150mg and it didn't work for me I had a few ok sized follicles but not what the doctor wanted. I've heard of alot of girls being put on Metformin with Clomid and having good results.
