PCOS related??

I have had 3 miscarriages in the past 2 years in which was probably due to being diagnosed with PCOS. I had taken clomid, metformin, progesterone off and on over the years. Every time I have used them, I was able to conceive but not able to keep. As stated earlier, I have been taken clomid off and on and have just decided to get on BCP until jan or feb, just to better control PCOS. I had a lapropscopy done and my tubes were clear. The doctor did notice two cysts that he was able to remove as well. But my question is, Is there a reason related to PCOS as to why I am not able to keep the egg but still able to conceive one?

i actually stopped taking the metformin after a while. the side effects were too much, but i guess that not taking them could increase chances of miscarrying. no reason the doctor has given. he says that each miscarriage is unrelated.

On the times you got pregnant, were you still taking Metformin? It is known that women with PCOS who take Metformin up until the 20th week reduces the chances of miscarriage. Have you spoken to your doctor about why you keep having a miscarrige?
