PCOS vs. Cushings?

My 20 yr. old daughter started with acne, panic attacks and OCD (hair pulling) in middle school, personality change etc.  Freshman year in high school significant weight gain,  periods stopped.  She was diagnosed with Poly cystic ovary syndrome by sypmtoms.  Wt. gain, hair growth, no periods , hair thinning....  recently i noticed a buffalo hump while she was home from college.  THis seems to be associated with Cushings. Has anyone experienced a hump with PCOS?  What tests should i ask for?  THanks

hi, I was diagnosed with pcos senior year however noticed a hump behind my neck and Stretch marks which are characteristic of cushings,  so I went back to the doc. To reveal I have cushings . Get her cortisol tested and a 24hrs urine test. Good luck.
