Pain in lower right ovary and Missed Periods

Hi I am 23 years old. I have gone just about 8 months without getting my period now. I am not pregnant. I have pain in my lower right ovary that comes and goes. This pain sometimes goes into my back and leg. Aside from when I was on BC pills, I have never had regular periods. I have been really pale lately and have been having acne on my face. I am always tired! What could be going on? I have an appointment for an ultrasound soon.

Are you seeing an OBGYN or a specialist? Are you trying to get pregnant? Some of your symptoms sound like PCOS, but only your doctor is going to be able to tell for sure, especially if you never had periods on your own without BC pills (that was the case with me). In addition to the u/s are you also getting your blood tested? Your hormone levels will also be telling here.
