Positive fertility tests but negative ovulation tests

I have PCOS and just recently I started using fertility tests and left and right I got the same answer...NEGATIVE! But about 2wks ago I tested again expecting to get the same answer except I didn't. I got a POSITIVE!!! But the only thing is that I continue to get a NEGATIVE on my ovulation tests. What could that possibly mean? How is that possible?!

i have pcos and completely understand as i also had the same problem. unfortunetlly because of pcos fertility test are not reliable, usually says so in the directions. That being said don't lose faith. my husband and i had finally given up and now im pregnant. Good luck
