Swelling on pubic lymph nodes

I have a painless swelling on my outer pubic bone on my upper right side. I can feel a lump when the the swelling is down and when the swelling is up I am sometimes able to use my fingers and press it down but it comes right back up. My gynecologist says I need to drink more water but this problem has been about three years and the problem still continues. The lump feels like a swollen lymph node and makes my pubic area look disfigured. What can I do?

Does the swelling appear around ov? I have read that those lymph nodes can become more prominent when you are ov.

Coming to think of it now, actually it does and sometimes when my period is due, then it goes down during and for a few days after.

i have the same problem with the swelling on my pubic bone and i get what i can describe it as swallen overies as two swollen lines appear but more dominant on the right side. it has only just started doing it though can it just happen? Please could someone tell my what it is and should i be worried about it?
