TTC progesterone issue!!!! Please help! !!!

I have PCOS and am TTC. My doc put me on progesterone for 10 days to induce a period.  I am on day 7 of progesterone and just got my period.  I didn't think you were suppose to get your period until you stop progesterone? Is this bad? Can I still start Clomid on day 5 of my cycle or is this a big issue. Please help.

Do I talked to my doc and they said it can be normal to start your period when still on progesterone.  They just told me to stop taking the progesterone and count the day I started my Period as day 1 of my cycle.  I can still start the Clomid add planned.  I start my first round of Clomid on Tuesday.  Wish me luck! !!!

I don't think there's anything wrong with starting it three days earlier.  Just means that's all the hormone build-up it took your body to be convinced it's at that time of its cycle.  Call your doctor or pharmacist regarding where to go from here, whether this throws off when to take the Clomid or not.
