Hi, I am 25 and was diagnosed with pcos when I was 16 Iv never had a natural period, I only started my periods when my GP put me on Dianette contraceptive pill, iv not been taking dianette for couple of years now and have noticed my period has started coming naturally, I was jus wondering if anybody else has had the same thing and if this is a good thing?? I hope so as I am trying for a baby with my partner
It is a good thing if you are getting your periods naturally. Normal menses means normal ovulation. However this may not be the case, in women with PCOS. If there is difficulty in getting pregnant then you should consult a gynaecologist for an evaluation.
Hope this helps.
