mentally and emotionally still at war

I have gotten to the point where I was fine with having pcos that the thought of having children was one day it will be my turn that it will happen when it happens and now somehow I'm back to the painful part of things feeling like I should just be shipped off to since deserted island. I don't want this to define me but I'm letting it,  don't want it to beak me but I'm letting it. I've thought of going to see someone such as a shrink or whatever but I get tired of hearing I understand when they don't, how can I "fix" myself without destroying myself even more?

I wish you the best on your journey and DONT give up hope until you rind the answes that you want and how pcos affects you!

Hi,

I am having the same problem been trying to conceive for the last 3 years with no luck, was diagnosed with possible PCOS last year. Have you tried using ovulation testing strips? also the Metformin is supposed to help, but not with everyone also clomid is another good thing to try. Don't give up! As hard as it is stress has a massive impact too so try and stay relaxed.

You probably have done this already but visit your GP and ask for your hormone levels to be checked (I think its day 3 and day 21) that way you will get a clear idea if you are actually ovulating and ask to see a fertility expert to explore other options! x

I have been ttc for 3 years now and still nothing. I was going to the doctors every month it got exhausting they put me on provera and clomid and eventually I stated to get my period on my own then the meds stopped working and my periods stopped. I think this is why I'm being so hard on myself because nothing is working.:(

y u dont use FSH Stimulation injection because when u use clomed for 6 months without any result then dr put u on this treatment which helps i m trying to ´get baby for 6 years since 2006 and i take all these med without metformin then in 2009 my fertility dr put me on injection and in first cycle i got preg but it miscarried in 11 weeks then again i took 2 treatments more one in 6 week another 10 weeks. after one and half year dr take my investigation and they find out i have high prolactin and little bit high TSH may be this was the reason i lost my babies, i took treatment again last month but i got negative dr said that my be ur hormones are not on level so thats y ur preg was negative.
but i will never give up i have got too much pain by losting my babies but i will strugle more more and more more. and one day will come in my life when i will be a mom.
so be brave this is not a end.........life will begain as soon as..................best of luck all of u
