no period with pill

hi im new to this im only 20 and i was wondering if anybody else is going thru the same thing im going thru. i never had a regular period and i have pcos. when i found out i started to take the pill for 3 months and it came for about 2 months, then it stopped again. i got back on the pill and im on my third week of taking it and no period but i have very painful cramps? when i first took the pill i got my period the first week with no problem and now it jus doesnt want to come what should i do?

I also have PCOS. I never tolerated the pill well. I had uncontrollable mood swings and after several months my period would just stop. I didn't and still don't have more then mild pain from my cysts. I found that just Provera for days 18 to 28 worked to bring on my period and stop abnormal bleeding. definitely talk to your doc though.

I agree about seeing a doc - anytime you have cramps and no bleeding, it could be a sign of a cyst.  It happened to me.  Good luck

hi iv got pcos to with pcos ur periods rnt regular but it depends on what pill ur on. Im on dianette and i cn have month where i have a period and other months i dnt. The pain is probably frm the cysts as the pill ur probably on is supressing them and when u take ur weeks break they swell thats the way iv always seen it. I hope this has helped u.  Id arrange to see ur gynae doc. Take care raach.
