pcos HELP!!!!!!

I have pcos, I recently went to a clinic that helps with the costs and medical problems for low income families.  They did really good for me and sent me to a obgyn and covered alot of my costs.  While visiting this obgyn he threw me into a series of birth control pills  this stopped my period for the first month.  the second month came and it was late but it came by the third month I started heavily bleeding some clots were the size of my fist.  The obgyns only response to this was to tell me to go to the e.r.    I can't afford this... so I delt with it.  I bled like that for 2 months.. It was so bad that I couldn't go to work or anywhere else for fear of having to change my clothes  every time I turned around I was in the shower it became so much torturesome I spent 75-90 percent of the time in the bath.  I want children very badly so this doesnt help.  So I quit taking the birth Control Pills to see if that stopped the bleeding now I haven't bled for about 3 months now.  at all.  but the obgyn who agreed to do my work pro bono with the exception of the free clinic covering the cost of my testing has now opened his own practice and is no longer under the same network as the doctor who agreed to help me... so now I have no one... and I fear that with all the medical problems that go with pcos   I will not have even one child.....what can I do on little to no income to help me be able to conceive

Hi, I understand what you are  going through. I have PCOS too and there are times I bled for 22days straight. I was not on any pill. Doctor put me on birth control pills and periods were like 4 to 5 days. I stopped the pills to get pregnant. If you ttc dont take the pills. Did the doctor put you on Metformin?? This the first med that the doctor prescribes for pcos patient. Many women have got regular periods and have conceived on their own without any problems just being on Metformin.

Hi. These problems that you have are very unpleasent, but don't worry! I know many women that had these kind of problems and still conceived and they have more than one child. I had cysts, tumor, had a couple of surgeries, been on different pills and injections, I have just one ovary now, but I can still conceive, at least the doctors are telling me that. But knowing the experiences of other women, I have hope! Maybe it will be a little bit difficult to conceive, but I think that that will happen. Talk to some doctor about Yasmin pills. I know how difficult is when you can't afford medical help, because it happens to me, too sometimes. Find a way to take care of your health, because that is the most important thing! Don't give up, because everything has end, even the bad things, and after that everything is going to be ok! Take care.
