pcos and miscarriage

I'll save the long story for another day and get to the bottom of it. I just want to know if any of my fellow PCOS-ers have gotten pregnant and miscarried, and what was your experiences, how long did it take your body get back to "normal", how did you tell, and any other info you want to share.

I wasn't on any meds when I got pregnant, I was only 3 weeks along when I miscarried. Within a week I was done bleeding and cramping, but now 2 weeks later I'm still bloated, constipated some, and cramping again but only when I get to active.

I'm posting this here because with PCOS you just never quite know if you're coming or going unless  you're on meds. With my son I didn't know I had PCOS and had no problems getting prego with him cuz I was young and in the best shape of my life. Now 9 yrs later and 20 lbs heavier the PCOS is very evident but even after doing the provera, clomid routine 2 different times with no success I just happened to get pg on an afternoon quickie with the hubby and end up loser "her" within 3 weeks.

Please share your experiences, frustrations. Help me figure out what is going on with my body and questions to ask my OB/GYN Friday when I see him.  Thank you.

I've know about my PCOS for three years. In 2002, young and weighing less I was pregnant for four months when I m/c. docs had no idea what caused the m/c and I think it was the PCOS. After words I stopped having periods and started gaining weight. I had went time trying to have a baby and times not. remarried and 8 years later, my husband and I have been trying for over a year and earlier this month was first time I've gotten pregnant, was four weeks when I lost it. Eight years and no pregnancies that I knew of and then one pregnancy for four weeks then m/c. my body adjusts without any long term affects. I had the usual bloated, nausea and hot flashes and then after the m/c it just stopped. When I went for an ultra sound my uterus was back to normal. Everyones body is different, they day I had my m/c eight years ago I had no pain, no dnc and no issues with the passing. but the lady next to me having a m/c was only two months and she was on her hands and knees in pain. who knows maybe you are having good luck and maybe theres a mirracle inside you. Good Luck!!!

I've had PCO since I was 14. Never tried to get pregnant before. Went without sex for 16 yrs. in 1991. Had sex again Jan 2008. Got pregnant. It was just that easy. At the time, I wasn't able to keep my baby, so I did what I felt I had to do. Since that time, I haven't been able to get pregnant and it's killing me. I don't think it's the PCO. I think it's the stress. Just try to relax, eat as right as you can, and perhaps this will be the month to get pregnant. For both of us.Good Luck!!!
