If you have your periods twice a month, it could be light spotting then when it's heavy then that's considered your period.  You should see your doctor and tell them what's going on with you as soon as possible.

I see a holistic doctor now, so this is what he told me about weight management:
Try for a 14 days to 1 month and see if you lose weight:
Continue walking and also do Yoga, Pilates.

Cut out all the starchy carbs like any breads and pastas (white or brown).
Cut out sugars, use Stevia or xylitol
Stick to brown rice, rice noodles, and not too much of potatoes (white or sweet).
Eat more veggies and fruits
Cut out red meats eat more fish and chicken and turkey (wild caught and organic is better to reduce hormones). Not process meats like deli meats.
Cut the soy products due to PCOS issues.
Have a protein in every meal

I've been reading this book by Susanne Somers: Breakthrough.  Here's a link from Amazon.com.  http://www.amazon.com/Breakthrough-Eight-Wellness-Suzanne-Somers/dp/1400053277
Check out your local library for the book for a free read.  It helps explain why we women are "off balanced".  Maybe some natural supplements will help you as well.

Best of luck to you!  God Bless!
