i'm 18 years old doing pilot training recently in class 1 certificate which is reqquired for the pilot training i found that i'm polycystic when they made an ultrasound. I have little bit of excess hair but of irregular periods optherwise i'm ok.My doubt is am i unfit for my career?is the syndrom affects my flying career?
I found out i had pcos when i was 11 years old and i was on my first period for six months, then my ma took me to the womens clinic and i found out i had cyst the size of golf balls on my ovaries. . ..Now im sixteen and i have to take birth control and topamax and imatrex just to have the normal life of a teenage girl.
when i was 14 i was put on tompamax and imatrex for my migraines, they didnt work for me, so i stopped taking them. im sorry to hear that you were only 11 when this happened. i am 19 and have possible PCOS. i am to get tested for it in 2 weeks...i went to a clinic to get a pap smear and the dr. told me that i might have PCOS and that i needed to go to a specialist. having pcos, does this mean you cannot have children? like you cannot get pregnant but you could carry children, its just that your egg doesnt drop or w/e? or does this mean you become infertile?
