provera or metformin

Hello, i was wondering how many of you ladies have taken or is taking provera or metformin
provera- jump starts periods
metformin- treats pcos and helps to conceive.

Um wow lol i know what they are hince why i put what they are used for haha. i wanted to know who has used them before. i was put on provera for 10 days not 5. I have been on metformin since feb 5,2013 for pcos. i have not had a period since jan 17.

Provera would be used to bring on a period. It's normally prescribed for 5 days. Metformin is something you should take daily for pcos. It will not bring on a period. Provera is progesterone. You will get what's called a withdrawal bleed up to two weeks after stopping it. Normally you will get your period after a couple days of completing the provera. Hope this info helps
