yh they wont do anything till you've been ttc for a year, stupid really since they know the reason why your not conceiving!! i heard that can regulate your cycles, i tried it just before i was diagnosed with pcos.  I stopped birth control in sept 09 and was diagnosed in July 2010, since i only had 2 months till i started treatment i didnt bother to take it anymore but if you have a while to wait it's definately worth giving it a go.

Good luck! 8 )

My doctor is exactly the same and won't help me, I have to wait a year before even starting any treatment I heard about agnus castus (herbal medicine) it has alot of mixed reviews but if the doctors won't help I have to try something, on my second week of taking it now so don't know if it is working yet! hi, i have pcos to and have been trying to conceive since sept 09.  i'm in the uk too and after 12 months ttc i went to see a my dr who sent me to see a gyne who prescribed clomid.  When you have pcos you generally dont ovulate so the clomid makes you ovulate and therefore increases your chances of pregnancy.  I did for cycles of clomid and although i did'nt get pregnant it did make me ovulate and regulated my cycles.

Speak to your dr about clomid, it really is a miracle drug 8 )
