hi, my name is tasha. i am bipolar manic an  have ptsd.. i have gone thro alot in my 25 yrs. but the most hurtful thing happened to me just on may 24 2009.. my mother tried to kill me.. well she pull a gun out an shot at me i fi hadnt moved she would have shot me right thru my gut...  so the reason im here is i thin git has triggered me PTSD  i havnt talked much since then an i cant sleep at nite i have to sleep durning the day due to the fact when i close my eyes at nite all i see is the gun an smoke filling up the room. or i will see me laying on the floor with blood on me an the floor.. i dnt kno what to do.. what do i do now?..i dnt have a pdoc i see

I am sorry this horrible thing happened to you, it must be hard to deal with,so 3 days ago your Mom tried to kill you,are you still under the same roof as my immediate reaction is that you should be somewhere else, have you a relative to stay with, and then you didnt report the incident? Could you share more of the incident with us for a better response..

so i should have put the whole story up there.. no im not under the same roof as my mother im staying with my husband which we dont get along but this i sth eonly place i have to stay at the moment. but yes i did report it an theydid out her in jail an she has had made bond... well it all started when i walked in my bedroom to get all the kids an i foun dmy moms bfs step son on top of my oldest child trying to have sex with her an well whats a mother to do other than i lost it. i walked back out of my room an told my mother to get the child b4 i broke his neck. an she then blamed it all on my child saying it was her fault. an mind u she never got on to the other child for what he had done.. so instead of my hittign her i throwed an tea pot an it hit the bedroom door. thats when we started yelling she told me she should have killed me 25 yrs ago an she would blow my f***ing head off. i moved from where i was standing an she pulled the trigger. if i had not of moved she would have shot me right thru my tummy. an then i froze i couldnt move the room filled with smoke an three of the 5 kids was sitting right next to her.. when i close my eyes all i can see is that gun an the smoke filled room. an i can hear gun shots  an it jus makes me freeze an drop to my knees an start crying.. i jus dont understand why my OWN mother would do a thing such as this...what am i ta do?...i feel like im in a never ending night mare..

You need to make sure you and the children are well away from her, let the Authorities deal with her.,if for whatever reason they have let her out you need a restraining order, your children should not be any where near the Step child who was abusing your child., perhaps you need to get help how you can deal with the whole Issue as it sounds extreme.Protect your children above anything else , there are places to go I believe so please ask for some helpASAP.

im sure there is places ta get help bu tim not sure where or how.. an the step child is black an so is his mother an im already scared enough without having to deal with her an her family on my butt as well

You do need some help from someone, there must be childrens services in your area as your child is at risk ,start there , you can call anonomously for information, tell them what you have told us, you are on a PC now google Childs Protection services and your Town, it should come up with a phone no and some idea of what you can do.
