I have always thought this place needed a prayer forum. Everyone on this site has rough days from time to time or even all of the time and prayer seems to help me get through my roughest days. Since MedHelp no longer allows religious discussions, that doesn't mean we can't pray for each other and our loved ones. Post your prayers and let the healing begin!

I'm very new to this site, but I'd really appreciate it if everyone would keep me in you prayers, I've been having some health related anxiety issues lately. I'm trying very hard to overcome my paranoia and trust God to take care of me. Thank ou in advance!

You will be in my prayers. I know it is truly hard to just let god have his way in our lives and trust that he will take care of us. But if we just leave our burdens at the cross he will take care of them all. Anxiety is not of God it is the devil trying to keep you down. But God is our provider our healer and can break any strong holds the devil is trying to place against you.

Just remember all the above stay strong and God will work out the details. May God bless you,

Hi AshleyR,

You will be in my prayers, Ashley. I have had health related anxiety issues
in the past when I was going through a depression. May I ask if it's not
too personal what health issue you're dealing with ? If you'd prefer not to
answer, that's totally okay. I just thought if you'd like to share what health
issue it is you're dealing with, I might be able to offer some suggestions.
May I suggest listening to some classical music with nature sounds in it.
I found this very soothing. Also try doing deep calming breaths. It's easy.
Just inhale, hold for about 3 seconds and blow out leasing your breath
slowly. Try this about 4 times. I just did this myself and find it calms you
down. I do this when I feel stressful or anxious. You can also find a comfortable chair or couch. Close your eyes and imagine the place where
you feel safe. Sometimes shutting your eyes and eliminating the visual and
allowing your mind to create a safe place can be comforting. I know what
health related anxiety feels like. I know it can be scary, but when you start
to feel anxious and you're starting to feel stressful. Why don't you try some
of the strategies I've suggested. Blessings, Eve :)

I couldn't agree more with UnsureMS! Just remember that anxiety is one of the devils strongholds. I have had health related anxiety for years and every day is a struggle but take comfort in knowing that God hears your every thought and prayer and will carry you thru all of it!

My heart goes out to you and you will be in my prayers :)
