AF Cramps at 9DPO - Am I Out for This Month?

Hey Ladies,

I am TTC for baby #2 after I had my son 2 years ago and we are finally ready for another! This is our first month TTC again and I am currently 9dpo but have been having AF cramps since about 6dpo.

I ovulated on cycle day 16 which was confirmed by a positive opk as well as accompanied by my normal ovulation pain.
I'm due for AF to arrive in 3-5 days time (according to FF, I am due for AF at 12dpo which is in 3 days time).

I haven't been charting my BBT all month, just started and it's sitting at 36.68 which I think is high but normal after ovulation anyways.
I've been checking my CM & CP and currently my CM is milky white & CP is medium, firm and closed.

Anyway's, the reason for my post is did anyone else have cramps like AF was coming but ended up with a BFP or a BFN?

I remember having mild cramps with my son but not too bad like they are now.. God, I forgot how stressful this gets! lol

That is awesome, congrats! This is our first month of trying for baby #4. I am 11 dpo but feeling awfully crampy. I do get cramps pre period sometimes, so it could very well be period cramps. I got pregnant the first try with all my others, but I am older now and not sure things are working the same way. My youngest is 8 and I am 32, so I have had a lot of years for my body to change. Only BFN so far on my tests, but I was a week late with two of my pregnancies before I got a positive. I don't seem to luck out with the early tests. We shall see I guess!

I am really glad you updated. I thought I was out of the running for this cycle, but maybe not? Your post gives me a smidge of hope, but I'm thinking it's probably a no this month. Thanks for posting and I look forward to your ultrasound update!

No worries hun, I know others stroll these sites for answers and I found that the majority of the people never updated with their result! I had my ultrasound yesterday and there's definitely a baby in there! I'm measuring 6w4d and from my lmp, I should be 7w today but I'll go by my scan date! Due Date is now the 01/08 and bubs heartbeat was 127bpm and I got to see it flickering on the screen! Best thing ever to know there's a viable pregnancy in there lol my cyst has gone down a little, it's now 4.2cm and a week or so ago it was 4.5cm so yay! Lol how many dpo are you?? Don't be discouraged hun, you're not out until AF shows! I had cramps right from ovulation to shortly after I got my BFP and I've learnt that it's my sign I'm pregnant because I never cramp until the day of or after I get my period. Fingers crossed for you!!!

Just wanted to update everyone again, I've confirmed my pregnancy with a blood test, HCG was 351 at 4 weeks which is normal and I'm now 5 weeks today! Have my dating scan in 2 weeks time & I'll be 7w2d!! I'll update everyone to say how my scan went and to ensure its a viable pregnancy buy I'm pretty sure it is.. getting some symptoms, with #2 it's so different! Can't lay on my tummy anymore, already have a bump but most likely bloating and exhausted. Bring on the sickness and everything else!!! Lol good luck everyone, I really hope whoever reads this that they're as lucky as me.. baby dust to all!! Xx

So went to the hospital the other night because I had sharp pains on my right side so feared an ectopic but turns out I have a huge 4.5cm cyst on my right ovary - the doctor said it's most likely where I ovulated from (which I did) and you develop a cyst afterwards and sometimes they get big like mine and it hurts!! I saw the sac but there was nothing in there however she assured me that it was just too early as I was only 5w5d but my HCG levels were at 17,875 so she said I'm most definitely pregnant, just too early to see anything.. is that right?? Did anyone else see a baby at 5w5d?? I've got my dating scan this Friday and i'll be 6w6d - was meant to be going on the Monday when I was 7w2d but they called to change the appointment.. Hopefully I see my little bean!! xx

**UPDATE**

I don't want to get too excited BUT I went & got a couple of pregnancy tests this morning on my way to work and I took one at work with 3rd morning urine so it was pretty diluted BUT I see an extremely faint line but it's there, my mum could even see it and she is like blind when it comes to this stuff lol (she works with me). SO! maybe it was implantation cramps last night and that's why it's so very faint or maybe it's a false positive??? oh gosh I hope not!!

I will take another tomorrow with 2MU (FMU is always way too diluted for me) and I'll update then.. I'll be 12dpo!

Wish me luck!!! :)

Thank you!! What dpo are you? Are you having symptoms? It's so stressful even with the second time around isn't it!? Lol
I'm now 11dpo last night I had a huge cramp in my right lower side in my pelvic area, it felt similar to my ovulation pain but only lasted about 5 mins so I'm thinking maybe implantation cramps?? Guess I'm just being hopeful lol
I took my last hpt this morning and I swear I can see a line but then again, I'm counting it as negative until I can see a line without squinting or holing it in certain places! I did an opk too because I'm a weirdo and love peeing on sticks and it was almost positive which for me is a good sign as I got a positive opk with my son and that night I took a hpt and it was extremely faint but it was there but the opk was sooooooo much darker so I'm hopeful!!!

Since I have no more hpt's, I'm going to wait until I'm late for AF which is due tomorrow at 12dpo so I'll wait until at least 14dpo to test with a hpt but I'll be using opk's lol

Well, just like last time i'm going to keep responding as I know people troll through these posts as they have these symptoms and want answers to the big million $ question!! So, I will talk to myself if no one replies lol

Anyways, i'm 10dpo today and I haven't taken another test because I hate seeing BFN's but it's taking so much for me not to test! The cramping has subsided for now but they were here this morning but not as bad as yesterday or the day before when I was 8-9 dpo.

So now I keep checking my CM & CP and my CM is now watery but creamy white but only when I check my CP, on toilet paper it's dry!
My CP is high, firm & I think it's open but again, it's too high to feel but I thought I felt it open at one stage.

I keep comparing it to my chart when I was pregnant with my son in 2014 and looking at that I was cramping from right from 1dpo to when I got my BFP at 12dpo minus a couple days that I didn't log cramps & that was my tip off that I may have been pregnant because I NEVER cramp before AF, I always cramp before I get them that day and the first day of AF when it's heavy but that's it! So I'm hoping it is a good sign i'm cramping this time but who knows? The cramping has stopped now and I feel no different, no spotting, no nothing. My 2014 chart I had implantation spotting at 10dpo, BFN on 11dpo and BFP on 12dpo and I remember having cramps that night I got my BFP because I was certain I was getting AF but the test said otherwise!

Gosh I really hope this means something good but I don't think it is our month... ah well, I hope next month is it!!

Don't worry, I will keep updating even if AF arrives!

xx :)

Also, I forgot to mention that I have taken a test yesterday & today and both were BFN's. I don't have any other symptoms but I did have egg white CM around 6-8dpo which was tinged with yellow but that's now gone. I read up about it & apparently it's normal when AF is due :(
