Can anyone help a young wanna-be mom with PCOS?

I have PCOS and have been taking medicine to help balance my hormones. It was working well, but I am now a week late, with only light spotting, no blood clots or heavy bleeding like with my normal period, pretty rough cramps, and my legs keep going numb/tingly. I've also had tender/hurting breasts, lower back aches, and my nipples seem darker. I'm so scared with multiple questions.
1. Does mild PCOS mess with HPT results causing false negatives?
2. Is this bleeding something I need to be freaking out about if I am pregnant? I've had one early miscarriage, but this feels and looks nothing like it.
3. How do I ask my doctor for an ultrasound? I feel like I would want one to confirm or dismiss it because I constantly second guess everything I can't see. (Bad habit, I Know ): ) Any answers would be appreciated! Thank you!!
