Can you get spotting around your expected period even if you're pregnant?

Hi! We have been ttc since we had a miscarriage in May.
I'm due on my period today and have been having pink spotting and a little bit of brown discharge.
Can you have this spotting on the day of your expected period and still be pregnant?
Think I'm wishing myself pregnant tbh!
Thanks

The pink discharge and spotting would usually mean your periods have started, though women do often experience some spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy. Only a home preg test or a blood test can tell for sure. Wish you get a positive result soon!!
