How long should I assume this cycle to be before I test?

I have been off the bcp for 9 months and so far just bfns :(. In the past I've always gotten pregnant quite quickly so this is very frustrating. I've told myself I won't symptom spot because even though so many sign have meant I was in the past, for these last 8months it meant nothing :(. I've always been pretty typical in my cycle length too but since off the pill this time I've had spotting way before prd was due and for a few days after .my doc put me on aygestin last month to help lengthen the luteal phase and I had a 32 day cycle due to that (after cycles of 25-27 days) what day would u consider ur projected period to come on and therefore test if it doesn't come? That was the only month it was longer than 28 days..

No symptoms if I was to spot :), other than larger boobs and bloatedness but who knows maybe I did put on weight?
