I want to try and get pregant at 46

Hi,
A few weeks ago I had a scare that I would have to have a hysterectomy.  Turns out, I just had a uterine polyp and I had that removed last week.  Prior to that, I had an ultrasound that showed my ovaries to be in great condition and I learned that I am nowhere near menopause via bloodwork.  My FSH levels on cycle day 3 were 8.  I am still ovulating and having cervical mucus when I do.  Would this be crazy for me to try? or should I go back to my reproductive endocrinologist to see what they say?  I'm almost embarassed to ask them because of my age.  I do have two daughters, aged 16 and 12.

You can do whatever you want! You should not be ashamed to ask on their opinion. If you are prepared for the long nights the potential health risks associated with being a bit older and want another baby then get the information you need and start trying! Stuff what anyone else thinks but you!
