Mirena removal and TTC

Just had my mirena removed this past week, and got my period today for the first time in over two years. Just wondering if anyone has any positive stories after having their mirena taken out. I hear so many negative comments from women who have taken a very long time to conceive after using an IUD, and really want to hear something positive.  Thanks!!

I had the Mirena for 4 yrs. Had it removed and I got pregnant within  3 months of ttc :-) I had no problems. 3 months it's long at all for being on A IUD. I would probably go back on the Mirena again if u had to choose a BC.   Good luck! Also while trying to conceive I just made sure it was while I was ovulating and I didn't think about it just had fun. That seemed to help a lot :-)
