Ovarian cyst - scared- trying to get pregnant

I just turned 31 yrs old and have always been quite healthy.  I have a two year old and we had just started trying for another baby this month. Recently, I had some back aches and a lot of cramping so I went to my doctor and they did an internal ultrasound.  I just got the news yesterday that I have a cyst on my left ovary and they need to do a followup ultrasound in 6 weeks to make sure it hasn't grown.  I am so scared- I don't know what to think.  It just seems like a cruel joke that we waited for the 'right' time to try again for another baby and this happens.  I had no problems prior to this- is this caused from stress on my part since I have been anxious to get pregnant right away? We didn't have problems with our 1st boy - one time and it worked so I just thought it would be just as easy.  Does anybody have any reassuring advice on cysts?  Should I continue trying to conceive before my next ultrasound or should we wait?  Will I have problems in the future conceiving because of this.  Will the cyst stop me from ovulating and having my period?  The reason being I am scheduled for my period today and I still haven't gotten it yet and have been having a lot of white thick discharge.  Any advice would be appreciated...

Thanks!

Keep it don't kill it abortion stops a beating heart babies have a heart beat 21 days after conception and their own set of human DNA from the moment they are conceived, planned parenthood's number one agenda is to trick unprepared women into killing their child and Planned Parenthood believes in a so called pro choice logo as long as it's abortion and did you know that women who abort/kill their baby regret it and can't get pregnant again most times and did you know that they suffer from many different kinds of health problems afterwards as well as mental scars and PTSD.
There are many other kinds of options other then abortion like for example adoption it's free and you can rest assure at night knowing that you gave your child a chance at life even if you can not provide and be  there for it in person or here is another idea that I highly recommend it's called the Online For Life Center or OFL for short these people not only prepare you for mother hood but also give you the necessary skills and things that you will need to be a mother and they offer constant care and support as well as aid and any kind of supplies for you and your baby even when the child is born there is another way killing a child should never be considered an option consider yourself blessed by God because me and my wife are still trying to have our first and she's dealing with reproductive complications they may make her infertile.

I wonder if someone can help me I have had ovarian cyst removed by surgery about 9 years ago. I was only 16 at the time now I’m worried  that my monthly is late by two weeks which is strange since I had my cyst removed 9 years ago it has been regular I have taken a pregnancy test and its negative I’m starting to worry that I have a another cyst and it might ruin my chances of having a baby with my fiancé I don’t know what to do should I wait and take another pregnancy test in a couple of weeks to make sure I’m not pregnant  or should I go to my doctor to see if I have another cyst.

I am dealing with the same thing. My doctor said most likely its Endometriosis. I am having surgery in a couple of weeks but I am so afraid that I wont be able to have kids again and it seems that nobody can answer that. I hope your surgery goes well. My sister in law had a cyst removed but they had to remove one of her ovaries as well and she still had 3 kids naturally. Good luck

I have a 6 year old daughter. I had her in high school. Soon after I had her I was trying to have another baby but nothing was happening. My periods started to be irregular. So I went to visit my doctor, she sent me to get a ultrasound done and found out that I had a cyst on my left ovary. She told me that If I took birth control bills it would go away. I found this out about 4 years ago. I never got regular check ups because I trusted my doctor and she said that it would go away when I took the birth control. Just last week I went in for a check up and found out that the cyst on my ovary didnt go away. It grew to be larger then a softball, so next week I have to go into surgery to remove it. There going to cut me like a c-section. Im scared I never had surgery done before, they just want to make sure that it doesnt burst into a bunch of little cyst. I'm also scared that I won't be able to have anymore babies because there will be scarring on my tissues. Can I get some advice. I would like to know if I will be able to have babies after I remove my cyst even though I have scarring on my tissue??

I am almost 26 yrs old. When I was 18, I was told a small cyst of 2.5cm would go away on its own. When I was 22, I went into the ER with severe pain, and they found my cyst had grown and ruptured, and I was pregnant, with no Feotal heartbeat. They sent me home, and I had to walk around with a dead baby inside me for two weeks before I could get an appointment to have it removed. In 2009, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and had it removed...They found my cervix had already gone post-menopause and had to cut out the bottom of that to get to all the cancers. NOw, after being in pain for months straight, I had an ultrasound yesterday, and the cyst on my right ovary is now very large, and I get very scarce periods. I also have very high levels of tissue on my uterus and right ovary. Despite trying to get pregnant with my Husband for the past couple years, we have had no success. Does anyone know if I have any chance of getting pregnat? And if so, will I hold the baby? I see my Specialist this coming Monday, but am very anxious, and would like to be prepared for the news to come.

Hi,
I recently were told that i have an ovarian cyst on my right ovary i was afraid at first but after visiting a gyneocologist i  was okay i was taking pills to get rid of the cyst the big one has gone naturally but i have small cysts around my right side and next month i will do some cleaning to get rid of them, ovarian cysts are common with women so no one worry just get a check up and get them removed ASAP after that u will fall pregnant see a specialist and discuss your situation but this is normal and common im going to do my operation and try for a baby then, but my advice have some cleaning done after your cyst dissapears because the remainings of a cyst can cause a miscarriage dont risk it. the reason it is hard for women to fall pregnant with a cyst because it blocks sperm to make its way to the egg so once you get rid of them u will be all clear, stay on the pill and see how u go.
Goodluck

Hi ladies, I'm 23 and I had my first kid at 16, and experienced a very pleasant pregnancy. At the age of 20 I had an ectopic pregnancy and had 1 tube removed ( due to the tube being damaged). Then at 22 I had to ovarian cysts. The first was 12 cm and very painful. Had it removed via laparoscopy and 6 weeks later it refilled and worsed than ever. This time laparoscopy was impossible due to my scarring and had to resort to surgery, I have very bad adhesions. I am now married and trying very hard to fall pregnant (trying daily)!!!
Has any1 had similar and managed to still fall pregnant???

You are not alone. 3 years ago in July of 2007, I had to have my right ovary and tube removed, due to an ovarian cyst. I turned 31 this year and got married last Februray, and have been trying to get pregnant since March of this year and nothing. I am soo scarred that I will not be able to have my own child. We have been trying all the techniques that have been posted up on the internet. We do the ovulation testing, sperm saving, carrot eating, and cough syrup methods and we still can conceive. My huspand has been to the doctor and got checked and he is just fine. Now it is falling on me. I went to the doctor but I haven't got my results back yet. When they do come back I soo hope that they are ok. I am gonna pray for you and me to get pregnant with our first kids.  My words to you is don't give up, and I am not eiher. God bless.

I have also cyst at the right side of my ovary..i went to the dr. last 2008..she said that i need to be operated and its only a minor operation.  But because its my first time to hear those diagnoses, i didnt return.   Now. its 2010 i think i need to see the dr. again and have it operated before its too late.  My mentruation is regular but this aug.11 was surprised when i had a period with a little stain, i am hoping it comes on 20th day but no period.Next year i am planning to get married to a british guy, hoping i can give him a child.

Wish me luck..friends

Earlier this year I woke in the middle of the night with cold sweats and a terrible pain in my abdomen. I thought they were just menstrual cramps but after agonizing for 5 hours I went into the emergency room. Turns out I had a grapefruit-sized ovarian cyst that ruptured and I had to go in for emergency surgery.

I'm 21 now and my fiance and I are worried about my ability to have children (whether it be now or later).  We tried for a few months with no luck, and now we're just taking it easy and hoping it will happen on its own.

Does anybody out there have any advice/stories about a similar situation that yourself or someone you know may have been in?  I've never really wanted children until I met my fiance, and now it seems like if I can't I will never be complete...

So, on that note, anything that anybody could share would be greatly appreciated.
