PCOS and pregnancy chances

Hello,

My girlfriend was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Symdrome) when she was around 18, and has been taking birth control pills for the last 8 years to help treat it.

She is now 26.

Just wondering, would she still be able to get pregnant?

And if so, what is the likelihood of her being able to successfully have a child?

(She doesnt smoke, and has a healthy lifestyle)

Thanks!
Sam

One of my best friends had PCOS and struggled for a long time with conceiving. She lost one pregnancy at three months, then had her first successful pregnancy with the help of Clomid. Her gorgeous baby boy isn't a year old yet, and she's pregnant again (by accident!) and in her 2nd trimester. The first pregnancy seemed to help "reset" her hormones. It can be challenging to conceive with PCOS, but there are definitely options, success stories, and hope!

With polycystic ovaries u can get pregnant it just takes longer and is less likely. If anything like me ur looking at 25% chance of being able to get pregnant but once you get pregnant 75% chance it will be viable and go to full term
