Trying to conceive
I'm 25yrs old and I'm not in birth control pills, I don't drink,smoke or do drugs. My finance and I have been trying for 5months and no luck. I have very irregular periods and my last period was at the end of February. I have no idea when I ovulate either. My mother got pregnant on birth control pills. Should I try that or go with a fertility pill? I'm gotten very upset with myself because we haven't had any luck and I don't know what to do to conceive. Please help.

Just keep trying and relax - as worrying and stress can have an adverse effect. I'd recommend trying an ovulation kit as the apps I have used to predict my own ovulation have ended up being always off to date so at least that way you'll know where best to concentrate your efforts!
I've been TTC for 10 months now, but know it will be worth the wait when the time comes. Stay positive ladies! Good luck and sending positive vibes to you!

Just be patient and try not to get frustrated. My boyfriend and I have been trying for five months also. Ive tried everything from charting my basal body temp to prenatal vitamins, recording cervical discharge and even trying ovulation kits but still nothing.
If you haven't already I'd pick up an over the counter ovulation kit to see if it can help you detect the Luteal hormone during your menstrutal cycle. Once you get a positive you should ovulate but it's never a guarantee. I've been doing the OPKs for 7 days now and still no sign of ovulation but everyone's different ! I would give it a try.
You don't want to use BC pills just because your mom got pregnant on them. It's a form of birth PREVENTION plus once you get on them it takes awhile for someone to conceive once they've been off it. My sisters both got pregnant on BC too.
