Ttc and on progesterone
So I had a miscarriage back in February, and my nurse practitioner put me on progesterone (100mg once daily). My understanding was that it would help hold onto a pregnancy, and I was so excited I started taking it right away, not thinking to correlate it with my cycle. Now I've been spotting for 8 days, and am 3 days late for my period. I'm not assuming I'm pregnant (I got a BFN two days ago). I am frustrated because now I'm wondering if I was too hasty in starting my progesterone and if it has prevented me from ovulating, and is preventing my AF. Has anyone else dealt with this? I've reached out to my midwife for clarification on what to do next, but I would love some feedback from other women with experience.
